I väntan på Jesus

I have lately written some things about the Essenes (see here) and their prophetic calendar (see here). In order to delve deeply into this subject, it's important to study the "Book of Enoch", which is full of prophecy, it's an "apocalypse" just like the book of Revelation. For the Essenes at the time of Jesus and before, this book meant very, very much, it's found in the Dead Sea Scrolls, the most famous archeological finding in history, where an almost complete Essene library was found. “...the mystery of Essene and Qumran origins is largely hidden in the Enoch literature” (professor Gabriele Boccaccini wrote, one of the world's foremost experts on Enochian literature, in the book Beyond the Essene Hypothesis, p. 13. I shall not write much about it this time. I'll just recommend you a good introduction to the prophecies of Enoch by Josh Peck, in this youtubevideo: "Enoch's Apocalypse of Weeks Prophecy".

 

In this very informative video American Christian prophet Josh Peck (I love you Josh!) lays out the prophetic calendar of Enoch, which is a little different than the prophetic calendar of the Essenes that I wrote about in this blogpost. The calendar of Enoch consists of ten periods of seven hundred years each, and Enoch describes those who have been, and propecies in his book about those that will be. The ninth period falls into our time, it is dated AD 1675-2375, and Enoch describes really well what will happen in the end times, in his book, it resonates with the Bible (also the tenth and last period, 2375-3075, resonates with the Bible prophecies). The strange thing is that 2025, the date Josh Peck in other videos guesses is the "Rapture" of the Bride of Christ, the beginning of the final age of man (which is 2025-2075 according to the Essene calendar), and the beginning of the Great Tribulation, is exactly in the middle of 1675 and 2375. Three and a half, the middle of seven, has otherwise very deep prophetic significance in the Bible, especially in the Book of Daniel and the Book of Revelation, which both build completely upon Essene apocalyptic thinking. So it is not a coincidence that the other Essene prophecies that I wrote about here, is in harmony with the prophecies in the Book of Enoch.
