It seems like the stock market in the US peaked in December 2021. Soon two years ago. It may be too early to say (maybe we can say this for sure only five years after, as with the oil peak), but I guess (maybe even bet on?) that the Dow Jones Index and the S&P 500 Index (the two most important stock market indexes in the world) will never surpass their peak in December 2021. There are many reasons for this, and the main reason is maybe that we probably won't surpass the oil peak (for "All Liquids") in November 2018, and if we do, not by much.

It'll be really interesting to see if my prediction will be fulfilled.
If five years have passed since the peak in December 2021, and the peak is not surpassed, I will celebrate this on December 31, 2026, by buying to myself something really, really nice, and maybe even partying with my friends. Because for me the peak and decline of the stock market is a joy, because for me the real riches are the riches of Nature, not those of civilization. Unfortunately the riches of civilization often are at the expenses of the riches of Nature.
